Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde is trying to replace streetlights with glow-in-the-dark trees using “the bio-luminescent qualities of jellyfish and mushrooms.” The glowing plants are created by “splicing DNA from luminescent marine bacteria to the chloroplast genome of a common houseplant, so the stem and leaves emit a faint light similar to that produced by fireflies and jellyfish.”
This post covers two days. Took the kids to Safari Park yesterday and then went for a run.
At the park they let you into the Lemur cage. The other pics are from the tram.
This afternoon’s run.
Last night’s and this afternoon’s run. Think I’m good to start training seriously again. New shoes seemed to do the trick. Thank you Saucony!!
Though I’ve been running, I haven’t posted them lately. First run and a pic of my new kicks. Switched back to Saucony after trying Asics. Really missed the comfort of the Hurricane 14s so trying the 15s.
